I can't believe the tone in which this article is written, but this is what I've come to expect when people tell me that they are "horror film fans." I immediately stay away from these people. Not because I'm squeamish, but because these kinds of movies always, ALWAYS, show some young women being raped, tortured, maimed, chased, murdered, or otherwise debased for no good fucking reason. Everyone has a visceral reaction to this, so they think they're "edgy" for making movies about it, when in reality they're all sheltered nerdy men who haven't spent enough time around real people (especially women) to know why they shouldn't show some girl being brutally tortured on screen. These movies aren't like "punk music," although plenty of punk music is pointlessly raw, too. It's like shock for the sake of shock: it's easy, cheap, and careless.
Coincidentally, I just saw some asshole on WoW whose guild officer name was "Fuhrer." When I called him out on it he was like WHAT, IT'S A GERMAN WORD THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. It's these kind of socially retarded people, who think they're special and unique because no one likes them, that make movies showing graphic rape and think they're "innovative" and "ground-breaking" because of it. Give me a break.

Harsh, but true to some extent. Oftentimes horror
anything seems like shock for the sake of shock. I suppose controversy is the only thing that makes them artsy.
And speaking of which, I redesigned Caitlin. Even though this new version is scratched the hell up, she has a more tolerable personality (probably because she's older) and is generally less mopey. Pretty good for someone who's been through that much.
Also, because I am squeamish, she is my own brand of Nightmare Retardant. If you're upset, go do something that cheers you up! Moping over it will only make you feel worse.
I wanted to say something else, but IDK. There are better ways to send your message.
